What is Yomio? Your AI-Powered Receipt Scanner & Expense Tracker
Yomio is a mobile expense tracker built around receipt scanning. Scan or upload a receipt, review the extracted merchant, date, amount, currency, and line items, then save the result as an expense record. The app also supports manual expense entry, spending organization, and Premium tools for exports, analytics, budgets, and family sharing.
What Yomio does
Yomio helps you keep a record of purchases without typing every receipt detail by hand. Its receipt workflow sends receipt images through Azure Document Intelligence's prebuilt receipt model, then Yomio's backend maps recognized fields and line items into an expense record. The model can miss or misread details, so review the extracted information before you rely on it.

How the receipt workflow works
- Add a receipt: Take a photo or upload a supported document from the app.
- Extract receipt details: The receipt model looks for fields such as merchant, transaction date, tax, total, currency, and line items.
- Review the result: Check the values and correct missing or misread details.
- Save and organize: Add the expense to your records and review it with your other spending.
